Founded by the Neighborhood Housing and Development Corporation (NHDC), SustainHome Academy was born from the need to provide real, sustainable solutions for homeowners facing financial hardship.
Originally launched in 2024 as the Foreclosure Intervention Matching Program, the Academy has evolved into a community-wide initiative focused on education, empowerment, and prevention—helping families not only avoid foreclosure but build long-term financial wellness.
